WCAG 2.2 AA and GEDSI · Built for Filipino MSMEs

See your website the way your customers with disabilities do.

Paste your URL. In under a minute you get a plain-language accessibility report — what’s broken, who it shuts out, and the exact code to fix it. Free, and you don’t need to sign up to see your score.

Include the full address, like https://yourbusiness.com. Opens in a new tab.

No credit card. No signup for your score. We scan the page you give us and nothing else.

Most websites fail people who want to buy from them

Someone lands on your site using a screen reader, or with the text enlarged, or unable to use a mouse, or on a cracked phone in bright sun. Your button has no label. Your form doesn’t say which field is wrong. They leave — and it shows up in your analytics as a bounce, not as a barrier.

No scare tactics

Let’s be straight about what the law actually says

You’ll see vendors imply that Philippine law will fine your business for an inaccessible website. That isn’t accurate, and we’re not going to tell you it is. Here’s the real picture.

We’d rather you buy this because it grows your business than because we frightened you.

What GEDSI adds

Most scanners check code. We check who gets left behind.

GEDSI stands for Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion — the lens development partners, donors, and corporate procurement teams use to judge whether something actually reaches everyone. A code scanner tells you a button is missing a label. It won’t tell you your checkout assumes a bank account.

Comparison of what a standard accessibility scanner detects against what the GEDSI audit adds.

Three steps. Under a minute.

  1. Paste your URL

Any public page. Start with the one that makes you money — your homepage, a product page, your checkout.

  2. We scan it

Your page runs against the WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria, then the GEDSI checks. You’ll see progress as it goes.

  3. You get a report you can act on

Every issue in plain language: what’s wrong, who it affects, and the code to fix it. Hand it to your developer, or hand it to us.

A report your developer can actually use

Not a score and a sales call. An itemised list you can work through.

Screen reader users hear only “button” and can’t tell what it does. This is on your add-to-cart control, so it blocks purchase entirely.

Registration requires a gender binary

Your signup form offers Male or Female as required radio buttons. This excludes customers and fails the inclusion criteria most development partners now audit against.

What we won’t claim

An automated scan is genuinely useful and genuinely limited.

It catches the mechanical issues. It cannot catch the rest, because the rest need a human. No tool can judge whether your alt text actually describes the image, whether a screen reader user can complete your checkout end to end, or whether your error messages make sense to someone who can’t see the field turn red.

So here’s what we won’t tell you: passing this scan does not certify that your website is legally compliant, and we won’t issue you a certificate saying it does. Anyone offering you that from an automated tool is selling something they can’t deliver.

What the free scan gives you is an honest baseline and a prioritised list. When you need conformance you can stand behind — for a client, a regulator, or a grant application — that takes a human audit with assistive technology. We do those too.

Every inaccessible checkout is abandoned revenue you never see in your reports.

Exporters and BPO providers

Your EU and US clients are being asked to prove conformance down their supply chain. Soon they’ll ask you.

NGOs and social enterprises

Your donors audit for GEDSI. Your website is the first thing they look at.

Questions

Is this free scan actually free?

Yes. Paste a URL, get a score and a prioritised issue list, no card and no signup required to see your result. We ask for your email if you want the PDF sent to you — that’s the only gate.

How is this different from WAVE or Lighthouse?

Those are good tools and we use them ourselves. Two differences. They hand you developer output; we hand you plain language plus the code, so a business owner can act without a translator. And they check code only — we add the GEDSI layer that no code scanner detects.

Does passing mean my website is legally compliant?

No, and we won’t tell you it does. Automated scanning catches the mechanical issues. Judgement calls — whether your alt text is accurate, whether a screen reader user can finish your checkout — need a human. For conformance you can defend, you need the full audit.

Am I legally required to do this in the Philippines?

If you’re a government body or bidding for government work, yes — Joint Circular 1-2010 applies. If you’re a private business selling only domestically, no law currently compels you. If you sell to EU consumers, the European Accessibility Act likely applies, though micro-enterprises under 10 staff and €2M turnover are generally exempt. Unsure which bucket you’re in? Ask us on a call and we’ll tell you straight.

What do you do with my URL and my data?

We scan the page you submit, generate your report, and retain it for [X days] so you can come back to it. We don’t sell your data and we don’t scan anything you didn’t ask us to. We process personal data under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Full detail in our privacy policy and tool terms of use.

What if my site is behind a login?

The free scan only reaches public pages. Members’ areas, dashboards, and checkout flows behind authentication need the full audit, where we test with credentials you provide.
